Mustang parts 1994 to 1999

This Mustang parts section covers everything from every day repair parts to exotic parts like superchargers, body kits and lambo doors.

These fourth generation cars, which were produced during the years 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 are in plentiful demand and very popular with the street and drag race crowds.

As this section grows, you will find how to articles, information on parts from different manufacturers, pros and cons if any, plus pictures, links to some of the cool stuff that's available for each model year.

What the experts say:

I was talking to my local Mustang parts guy today, and he said that It's amazing how many times he hears from people...that heard from people...that heard from other people...what's supposed to fit somr model year Mustangs, only to order the wrong parts for the right car.

Also, I'll contribute my experience, from working for several of the major parts manufacturers in the past and seeing what worked, what didn't and which parts were returned as defective, but just weren't installed correctly. And where these parts came from were certified mechanics, not enthusiasts and back yarders!

So where possible, this information will be added.

Oh, and by the way, if certain parts cover several years, and many do, I'll put them together with a link to save time and avoid repetition.

Finally, there is a section at the bottom with what I like to call "cool stuff" where you'll find out of the ordinary parts, like say, Lambo doors and other fun parts!

1994 Mustang Parts

We're going to start with the most popular and commonly replaced,or upgraded parts first and continue to add other parts over time.

Mustang Wheels and Tires

Wheels and tires are probably most enthusiasts first and most popular additions to their Mustangs.

Obviously, if you are either a racer or an extreme builder and have tubbed wheel wells or mini tubs, you can pretty much fit any size wheel and tire into your wheel wells without rubbing the fender wells, but for stock and larger wheels and tires, lets see what fits.

1994 Mustang Tires:

Standard tires for the 94 Mustang are 205/65-15

The Mustang Cobra tires are 255/45-17

1994 Mustang convertible has 205/65-15 tires (standard)

The Mustang GT has either 225/55-16 or optional 245/45-17 tires.
