2011 Mustang Video: First Peek at the GT 5.0 V8

Waiting to see the 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 up close and personal? Well, its not in the showrooms yet, but Ford Motor Company has been nice enough to give us a sneak peek in the form of some cool new videos.

One of Ford's videos below, shows a new black 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 liter V8 coupe cruising around some back roads.

The other video shows the new GT 5.0 liter V8 charging up to 7,000 rpm on a digital readout.

If you want to get a look at that new 2011 Mustang GT logo, the video includes a close up view. Plus we get to see the gorgeous engine compartment. Those 5.0 V8 engine covers make the new Mustang engine look very similar to the high end Mercedes AMG motors.

There are some other good shots as well, giving us a peek into the Mustang grille and the dashboard layout. One feature I liked was the small integral wide angle mirror imbedded in rearview mirror housing. Nice touch!
