Can I change the the standard instrument cluster in my 65 Mustang to the 5 gauge GT version?

Answer:

The short answer, is yes. But remember, that where there was an idiot light, there may not be the same sending unit.

So, check out the gauge senders, or if you have the originals, from the 5 gauge Mustang instrument cluster, use them.
